Mia is very pretty, not as beautiful or pretty as children of Aphrodite. She is most active and powerful at Night. In Daylight Hours, however, she is at her weakest.Description: Play-by: Danielle Campbell
History:
Mia was born to a very poor family who lived in a box in an alleyway. With 3 other siblings and her father (Her mother had supposedly ‘died in a car accident right after Mia was born’) they couldn’t all fit in the small box, One or two of them normally had to sleep outside, just to be founded by thugs who beat them up. Life was ruff; there was never enough food, water, or shelter. But the Black family tried there hardest to stand on their feet.Personality:
The thing that always confused her is, when the twins turned 13 they left home. Whenever she asked her father were they went, he’d look at her, smile and said. “Your grandparents sent for them.” Mia was confused, why would her grandparents send for her siblings and not her. When she asked, her father had just shrugged. Leaving with the excuse of “I’m going to go see if I can find work, I’ll be home as soon as I can.” One day he did this, He never came home.
Years flew by with no news of what happened to her father. She was 8 when she had revived word from her siblings, three years after her father’s disappearance, and her grandparents took her in just as they did them. Her grandparents apologized, strangely her father hadn’t told them about her and the ‘Mia’ Ben and Beatrice had been begging for them to bring they had assumed was a friend. Living with her grandparents was strange, they had owned a house, something Mia had only dreamed of when she lived with her father in the box. They also started to home school her, She had more trouble then her siblings. They could patiently sit still for they’re classes when Mia couldn’t even last 20 minutes without bouncing up and down in her chair and noticing little things in the room. Like a squirrel dashing through the tree near the window or the Brandi (Her grandparent’s pet dog) was wagging her tail. It made her schoolwork a nightmare to teach but her Grandfather (Grandma was teaching the twins) was determined to teach her what she needed to know. He turned her schoolwork into a series of short, fun games.
Life was good; she had a real family, a warm bed, and three meals a day. She probably could have lived like that forever. Her siblings were in collage at the moment and they dropped by for vacations and whenever they possibly could. (They were going to collage right in N.Y.C, where her grandparents had moved to after her 12th birthday.) Her siblings where home for her 13th birthday when she got the letter. It explained about how the Greek Mythology all was real, that she was Demigod, and her mother was Nyx. It was signed by Nyx with a P.S at the end of it that read: “Beware of the monsters!” Her mother had included a map to Camp Half Blood in the envelope, so she turned to her grandparents, hugged and kissed them on the cheek. Thanked them for taking care of her, when she went to hug her siblings they smiled, and started to walk towards they’re car. “We’re driving you as far as we possibly can.” Ben had explained, Mia just shook her head and told them that she had to do this by herself. That she loved them, and she’d visit them but that she was going to Camp Half Blood on her own. So, she walked to Camp Half Blood in the middle of the night. She’s been a year-round camper ever since, getting in touch with her siblings and Grandparents using good-old United Postal Service of Hermes.
While she typically wears a somber expression, her next most common is a slightly addled one. However she can be extremely outgoing if surrounded by people she feels comfortable with. A natural public speaker, she can talk with almost anyone and not feel too awkward. However comfortable she can be, she’s extremely emotional and gets embarrassed easily. It’s due to this reason she doesn’t earn many friends. Another problem with gaining friends is her attention span is so low she'll change her focus on something else quickly, not making it easy to come on a subject of conversation with her.Role-Playing Sample:
