The Beings [/u][/ul]
The Blood is the term used for those who have the ability to wear and use a Jewel. They have access to the Craft, and are the general high Castes. Each gender has their own rankings within the Castes, with the females being more powerful, and more dangerous. They are a Matriarchal society, so it comes to stand that some of the males who are more ambitious would become jealous of the higher ranking females. Most of the time though, the makes are fine with their status within the court, especially if they have a kind, caring, and considerate Queen.
Each Queen has her Triangle around her, like the inner self’s Triangle, they hold her together. You have her Steward, and older male who she looks to for support and wisdom, he is most likely the main male who can defy her orders.

[/u]- non-Blood of any race
Blood male- a general term for all males of the Blood; also refers to any Blood male who doesn’t wear Jewels
Warlord- a Jeweled male equal in status to a witch
Prince- a Jeweled male equal in status to a Priestess or a Healer
Warlord Prince- a dangerous, extremely aggressive Jeweled male; in status, slightly lower than a Queen[/ul][/ul][/ul]
Males are high strung, and easy to anger. For example, never call an Eyrien ‘bastard’ is you wish to live. They can rise to the Killing Edge at the drop of a feather at times, and once they do that they are hard to bring down. Remember, if they have hot anger, its fine, once they go cold, watch out, and get out of the bloody way. They are very protective of their females, or any females who are insecure and vulnerable, and will growl at those who wish them harm, or worse. They are especially bad when a female is on her first three days of her moon time. [/b][/u][/ul][/ul]
[/u]- non-Blood of any race
Blood female- a general term for all females of the Blood; also refers to any Blood female who doesn’t wear Jewels

Healer- a witch who heals physical wounds and illnesses; equal in status to a Priestess or Prince
Priestess- a witch who cares for alters, sanctuaries, and Dark Alters; witnesses handfasts and marriages; performs offerings; equal in status to a Healer or Prince
Black Widow- a witch who heals the mind; weaves the tangled webs of dreams and visions; is trained in illusions and poisons
Queen- a witch who rules the Blood; is considered to be the lands heart and be the Bloods moral center; as such she is the focal point of society[/ul][/ul][/ul]
Females, like males, have some special things that they need to take into consideration. When they reach their moon cycle for each month, the first three days they aren’t able to use their Craft unless its basic craft. And the Darker the Jewel they wear the more they are affected. Males will become very protective of them, and will definitely coddle, mother, and growl at if they are doing something they aren’t supposed to do. Crossing ranks is uncommon, but not unheard of. On a rare chance, when a male reaches maturity (around 15-16 years old, any age) they may become a Black Widow, but it is very rare and generally well hidden, because if a female were to find out about the male being a Black Widow, that male would be put to death or, well, Shaved. Which I shall not go into in detail, but I will cover it. Dual classing in ranks is as uncommon as Naturally born male Black Widows, and are generally Queens who are Black Widows as well. Sometimes you can have a triple class for the females, that being a Black Widow Healer Queen. This is something that is so uncommon there were only three mentioned within the books themselves, and so therefore will be given as a special thing, and will be very, very, and very Rare.

The darkest that one can go is Black and the lowest you can descend in Jewel color and Rank is Black, though even gaining that in the Offering is rare. When the Offering to the Darkness (age roughly 20 or so, even for long lived races) you can only descend three Jewel colors. An Example: Birthright White can descend to Rose, just as the Birthright Red can descend to Black. Birthrights and Offerings will be determined by a Roll of Percentile dice (two d10’s or a d100) determined either by a random die generator online or by actual physical Dice. Birthright gems that are determined by a role will have a table set up so determining them is fair.

There are Three Long lived races, and multiple that are not as long lived.
Eyrien’s: A long lived race. These are the ones who live mainly in Askavi, and those who do the Runs, because they are winged beings. They are warriors, and take great pride in their wings, which is why you never call an Eyrien a bastard, because to do so is to question their father, which is then questioning their wings. Their wings are not feathered, they are membrainous and rather large. Their eyes are several different shades of gold and or yellow, making them look almost feline like.
Hayllian’s: These are golden skinned long lived people who are from Hayll. (Obviously! The name’s match!) Like the Eyrien race their eyes are several different shades of gold and or yellow.
Dhemlan: A long lived race. Tall, tan, minimal facial hair, no facial hair, and like the Hayllians and Eyriens their eyes are golden, or shades therein.
Glacian’s: These are like your typical Norde. Pale skin, fair hair, and bright blue eyes. They are from Glacia and tend to have rather hot tempers.
Satyrs: Well, we know that Dionysus is the ruler of the typical Satyrs, but though these look like the normal Satyrs, they have their own beliefs and are considered friends of the Dea Al Mon. Their upper half is human, with little horns protruding out of their curly hair, mostly hidden on females, their skin tanned and an olive golden brown. Their lower halves are the most unique pieces, because they are of goats, with the thickly curled fur and cloven hooves.
Centaurians: Well, they are centaurs! They are almost like the Satyrs in that their upper half is human, but instead of having just two legs, they have the whole horse from shoulders back! These can vary in colors and sizes, depending on the breed of horse and where in Scelt or Dea Al Mon they are brought up. They are typically very skilled with bows and arrows.
Dea Al Mon: These are like the elves of the societies. They, like the Kindred, have closed off their territories to all Blood outsiders. Their skin can be fair, or tanned, and their hair is always silvery in color and long. Their ears are longer and pointier than normal, and easy to hook their long hair behind. (I picture the Blood Elves ears from WoW… I know, Geek)

The Kindred are a special race, made up of multiple races combined. From the white stripped cats to the horses, to the unicorns, and the Arcerians. Each race has their own special quirks, and can converse with the normal Blood on spear threads, or on open threads, when the hedge has been opened up to those Blood that are ignorant to them. Each Kindred has their Jewels around their necks on a collar, or necklace, except for the Unicorns who have them on rings around their horns. Like the Jeweled Blood, they have the ability to be in one of the Castes, the castes they have are the exact same as for the Human Blood, and the male and female role stays roughly the same.
Arcerians: These kitties are large, weighing in at 700 to 800 lbs for the males, and 800 to 1000 for the females, and no taller than 4.5’ at the shoulder. They are all white with blue eyes, and have a nasty, although very fun, habit of being able to sneak up on their prey when hunting, and said prey doesn’t realize they’ve been attacked until they are already wounded enough to barley put up a fight for the cats. This ability is mainly used on prey, but can be used on enemies when needed. They live in cold weather and mountains, and the most known one for Ebon Askavi is Kaelas, meaning White Death. Which is very accurate.
Stripped Cats: Basically, they are white tigers, except instead of black stripes, they are a dark blue-grey. They are about the same size and looks of the Arcerians, but just a different breed. Not much is said about them, and therefore I am making inferences that they would have roughly the same hunting style as their fellow felines.
Horses: The Kindred horses are faster, and stronger than normal horses, being able to carry a rider far longer and for greater distances. Other than that they look just like any old horse, except for the Jewels around their necks.
Unicorns: Like your usual pale furred myth, these beings are graceful, beautiful, and dangerous all in one. When they die they return to the land, making their homeland a sacred place. These Kindred, out of all the Kindred, are the most secluded. Their manes are bright white, while their pelts are usually a creamy color, and their horns are silver.
Wolves: They are like our friendly neighborhood canines, except larger, and much more protective.
Scelties: These are small dogs, who look almost like Jack Russle Terriers. These fellas have a neat little trick for walking on air, something that can be very confusing at first, and very annoying. (Sceltie is pronounced Sheltie)
Arachians: Small spiders who are all Black Widows, they weave the tangled webs of dreams, and are very rarely seen. There is always one Queen, who weaves the web for Dreams Made Flesh, or Witch.
Any animal can be a Kindred, but these are the main and most likely the most powerful. Any can play the Kindred listed above, and if there are any specific requests I would be willing to add them in.

The Demon Dead are those of the Blood who still had the strength, will, and Jewels to retain their lives after they have been killed. They live mainly in Hell, and the older they are the more sunlight hurts them. They prefer to drink a blood wine called Yarbohroh, which can be made with any flavor of blood, and tastes best, and is recommended, warm. One may play a Demon Dead if they really wish to, but remember, they are still able to be killed, and once they are killed after being Demon Dead, they are dead dead. Or double dead.
Several different types of Demon Dead are mentioned, and possibly playable, but not recommended. The
Childu Drythe, or Demon Dead children who hide within their island and are very rarely seen. And then the Harpies, which are witches who were violently killed by a male. They are typically like spirits of vengeance for all females who have been wronged by a male, and will slaughter their own killer, even if it takes centuries to be able to do it.

The Guardians are those who have opted for a half life. They are basically like vampires in which they need blood to survive, though not as bad as most because they just grow weaker. They can live far longer than any other being, and have to go through a very painful experience after volunteering to become a Guardian, to reach that status. They still retain all their Jewel strength, and their Caste, they are just not dead, and not alive. There are only four in existence, and only three of those are open about it. They are Saeten, High Lord of Hell, Geoffrey, the Keeps Librarian, Hekatah, the High Priestess of the Hourglass, and Cassandra, Black Jeweld Queen who was once Witch. Since they are such a rare being, these are non playable races, but the information on them may be needed.[/blockquote]
