You think it’s all just a game, that I’m playin’… *------*------*------*------*------*------*------*------*------*------*------*------*------* With a skip and a hop she stumbled out ot her cabin, heading towards the woods to the south, where her team was for her most favorite game ever. She had a few apples to snack on, and a few tricks up her sleeve she had already set up in the forest around their base, and on her as well. With a wicked grin she glanced around to see not many about, and she sprinted off in the direction of the base.
Reaching the woods she walked carefully into them, keeping an eye out for other forces, specifically the north force. she made her way carefully to the south base and checked over her tricks in the area, designed not to hurt those on her team, she had to make sure that that safety bit was implemented, no matter how much she would rather it not. She wanted to win the damned flag, not have her team injured and not win it. She whistled to herself as she perched on a rock, a pair of daggers about the length of her forearms from the armoury in her hands. She made sure of the edge, mainly for any baddies that may try to sneak up on her, and settled down to wait for other members of her team to arrive. *------*------*------*------*------*------*------*------*------*------*------*------*------* But if you wanna’ have a go… I just wanna’ let you know…..OOC: Adding Khloie into here, that way I'm not double posting!Never gonna’ give in never gonna’ give it up no, You can’t take me… ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ She wandered around the camp, wondering if she wanted to pull a stunt like the Aphrodite kids and just sit out of this game, but at the insistence of her equine friends she grudgingly trudged to the armory, wondering if she should grab a bow or sword. She finally decided on a short re-curve bow and selected a quiver, almost wishing her dad had given her a bow instead of a harp, but then scratching that thought out of her head because she loved her harp. She trudged towards the forest, dragging her feet. A harsh image flowed to her mind as she passed the stables, they were irritated at her sillyness and insisted that she go have fun with those who were closer to her kind. She shot a glare at the structure and picked up her pace. Determined to show the horse-brained dorks she hung out with that she could have a good time with humans as much as them, well as close as humans came here.
She prowled her way to the south base, where she was supposed to be along with everyone else, and stopped just outside where their flag was. Another person was there, but she decided she didnt have to talk to them. She stepped up into the small clearing and stood just inside the clearing, turned out towards the woods, and pulled one of the safety arrows out of the quiver, not knocking it quite yet but being at the ready before the rest of the team showed up. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ I’m Free!

Kate had exited the Artemis Cabin in good spirits, although she was on opposing teams of her half-siblings she wouldn’t allow that to bring her down. This was a game of Capture the Flag, not a real war. She walked right past the armory, She had the bow ‘on her back.’ and she had no need for any other weapon, She was better with a bow then with a sword.
As soon as she got to the entrance of the forest she ran to the Southern Camp, She knew this place like the back of her hand and she was prepared for what the Northern team threw at her. Word Count: 116 Muse : Could be better Outfit : 'Click

Blonde hair turned around her delicate face with the wind. Melody was ready for the game! She walked confidently, her gray sweat pants warming her legs in the cold. She had gone over the words to her song all night. Melody would not be holding anything back. She would sing till the enemy was all dancing and singing along with her. Melody glanced at the beige back at her side. Her whole team would be required to have what was in the bag, it would stop them from dancing and singing.
Melody arrived, to see three people already there. She smiled shyly, it's radiance greater then that of an Aphrodite camper. That was what Sirens did, the seduced sailors with their looks and voices. She dropped the beige bag on the ground. Single packets of bees wax earplugs spilled on the ground. "Hello," Melody said in her quiet melodic voice. "You should all grab a pair of earplugs..."
Jenks walked quietly toward the base. After taking about twenty silent steps, he became bored with it. He began to stomp. Switching about every twenty steps, he made his way to the base. Jenks, like all demigods, was ADHD. However, unlike other demigods, his mother was the goddess of insanity. His ADHD was worse then everybody else's... He had graffiti all over his body, each one saying "Capture the Flag" in different kinds of script. The writing was merely to remind him what he was doing. Jenks stopped at the base, and waited for instruction. He himself wouldn't be able to give any, he'd forget what he was supposed to be doing...

He loped easily out of his cabin, the dawn light giving his silhouette a pale orange glow. Today was one of the only days when he woke up at Camp Half Blood and was in a truly cheerful mood. Though an approachable smile had taken shape on his lips, his eyes scanned the area skillfully, watching for any possible threat. The fox spirit that padded beside him did the same, and it's ears were constantly swiveling around, catching practically every sound wave that was within a mile of the two. That was an exaggeration, but the thought comforted him.
Soon enough he reached the Southern Base, and came to a halt with his companion, the pleasantly light daggers that he had found in the armory ceasing to bump against his thigh at last. He scanned the clearing with interest, deciding that the team so far looked pretty decent, even if one of the members had the name of the game scribbled all over him. Before taking a seat on a nearby tree stump he bent down to take a pair of ear plugs for himself, deciding that the fox would act as his ears. He instructed the spirit to do so, transmitting a message to the creature within a second. The fox gave a roll of it's eyes- wasn't that what she had been told to do already? This provoked a small chuckle from the son of Hades, which would no doubt come across as very odd to the others. However, Colin often failed to see this. His hazel eyes traveled from the blonde to the rest of his teammates doubtfully. 'If we're going to wear these, we'll have to use our other senses way more than usual, but I suppose it's worth it."
Muse- Not too good for a first post, but fairly decent. Tags- Gimme a S! Gimme a O! Gimme a U! Gimme a T! Gimme a H! SOUTH TEAM! WOOT! Words- 302

You think it’s all just a game, that I’m playin’… *------*------*------*------*------*------*------*------*------*------*------*------*------* While she waited another girl came up, one that didnt look too happy, but she pushed it aside, knowing there were more who were supposed to arrive. It seemed just as she thought that another girl came into the clearing, one that seemed to be of mixed heritage, though not at the same time. What seemed like seconds later another girl stepped into the clearing, and told then to place earplugs in their ears... Curious she blinked and cocked her head, wondering what the girl had in mind. She stood and stretched, keeping as strong a grip on her daggers as she could. Before she picked up one of the packages she asked the girl, "What exactly do you have in plan might I ask?" she scooped up one of the containers just as a very odd site walked into the area, one that she wasn't fully expecting. The kid, a boy to be precise, had writing all over himself, which seemed very odd to her, and well, gave her a slight headache to try to read do to her dyslexia. She shook her head furiously and fiddled with the packet through her blades, refusing to put them down and let her guard down. Another blond walked into the clearing, and she counted, including herself there were five others, if she remembered correctly there were supposed to be six, so they were all almost ready.
"Just to forwarn you, there are many different traps out and about the woods on our side of the river. Just look for the glowing apple, it'll show itself only to those who are here at this base at the start of the game. Some of them may be a bit dangerous, though by my terms, not nearly as much as my usual ones are. But still. Be very careful the closer you get to the base, their thicker there." she grinned her wicked grin and waved to everyone, "I'm Dani, daughter of Eris. Anyone have a... Well thought out plan? Or are we just gonna' jump into this with our eyes shut and weapons drawn?" she bounced up and down on the balls of her feet in anticipation, excited about possibly whomping some relative butt. *------*------*------*------*------*------*------*------*------*------*------*------*------* But if you wanna’ have a go… I just wanna’ let you know…..Never gonna’ give in never gonna’ give it up no, You can’t take me… ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Soon others came into the clearing, she shied away from them a bit, but then remembered the horse-brains back at the stables, and decided to turn about to be able to converse with them. As soon as everyone was there the girl who was there before her spoke up, making her jump a tidge bit, but not enough to be noticeable. She watched as a few others picked up the ear plugs and chose to do so herself, curious herself as to why. She shrugged her shoulders when the other girl asked her questions and nodded in understanding at the traps, good ideas she thought. "I'm Khloie... Kinda hard to explain my situation but I'm half human, a quarter Poseidon, and a quarter Apollo... I work best with horses, but I can still shoot a bow, which is what I figure I can do." she waited for the looks she expected from them and focused on the ground at her feet, nervous and a bit unsure, almost expecting to be shunned for her very mixed blood. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ I’m Free! I had a dream - of the wide open prairie I had a dream - of the pale morning sky I had a dream - that we flew on golden wings And we were the same - just the same - you and I <---------------------------------------------------/-/-/-----------------------------------------------------------<<< Blinking away sleep Cassie stretched, yawning a very large yawn. She sighed and sat up, then remembered that today was the first capture the flag game of the winter. Her palm flattened on her face as she hit herself upside the head. She had slept in and hoped that the game hadn't started without her. Spazzing to get up and dressed she stood and frantically searched for her only sword and checked to make sure her charm bracelet was on her wrist. Finding the blade and being sure that the golden bracelet was around her wrist she slipped her shoes on and sprinted out her cabin door, almost tripping up on the door frame. She sprinted through the camp's grounds and into the trees, slowing down a few steps into the woods and pulling her bow and quiver off her bracelet just in case the game had already started. She made her way as quickly and silently as she could to the south's base and found that she was indeed on time, and the game had yet to start. It seemed though, that her side wasn't as organized as it could be, yet she wasnt in any position to help that due to she herself not being organized in any way.
"I'm soooooo sorry that I'm late! You'd think that I would've woken up with the sun like any other time, but I guess this time it didn't happen. I'm Cassie, daughter of Apollo!" she stated cheerily to those who were there. She saw that several others had already taken something off the ground but she didnt know whether or not to do the same, so she stood there with her smile and hair askew feeling a bit awkward. >>>----------------------------------------------------\-\-\------------------------------------------------------------> We are like birds of a feather We are two hearts joined together We will be forever as one

Melody smiled at all the people. Her radiate grin gleaming like the sun in the desolate woods. She watched as everyone took earplugs. Perfect! she thought. Melody was the happiest she'd been in a while. As the daughter of a monster, Melody was the center of ridicule, and forced to never do what she truly loves. Singing. It was too dangerous for any human, or part human, who heard her voice in song. It was upsetting, but Melody survived...
Melody walked over to the quarter girl, Khloie. She felt that she would get along well with her. They were both outcasts among the demigods. Melody with her monster blood, and Khloie with her quarter blood. "Hi," Melody said with her voice ringing like a thousand bells. She was addressing the whole group. "I'm Melody Song, my mother is Thelexiepeia. And for those of you who don't know her, she is one of the three Sirens..." And now her monster heritage was floating around the base.
Jenks's eyes started to drift as he caught sight of a squirrel. Hmm, they usually aren't awake this time of year... he thought. The fathomable gold eyes glimpsed his arm. The selection of writing written in ancient Greek jumped out at him. "Capture the Flag". Oh, oops... Jenks thought, dragging his attention back to the people. "I'm Robert Jenks, but I prefer to be called....." His attention broke off again. The selection that read "获取标志", or "Capture the Flag" in Chinese. Snapping back to reality, Jenks continued his sentence. "Jenks. I am the son of Mania, goddess......... of insanity..."

Kate smiled at everyone, going to grab a pair of earplugs for herself. When Dani asked about a plan she had a sudden want to hit herself in the forehead, but she ignored it. It's alright, You don't need to have a plan for everyone. Even though you've played this game for a long time. She then pushed that thought away, smiling. "I've never tried the hop into the game with our eyes shut and our weapons drawn ready to aim, It might be fun." She told Dani before she turned and smiled at Khloie, Which one of us is exactly how some wants us to be? None. She thought, she wouldn't shun the girl. She was a pretty odd mix too, though her mix wasn't exactly in blood like Khloie's was. "It's no problem, Cassie. All of us are late one point or another in our lives." She listened to both Melody's and Jenk's introductions silently, waiting a few moments before she spoke. "I'm Katherine Ruth, Deputy Huntress of Artemis and Daughter of Aphrodite. But please call me Kate." It was sad to admit but Kate really didn't know any of them, she'd heard of one or two of them from gossip (Although, she didn't gossip some campers couldn't have spoken any louder) but that was it. She was somewhat jealous of her Aphrodite 'brother' Carwyn, at least he was on a team with Cameron. Word Count: 266 Muse : It's Alright Tags : The South Team

You think it’s all just a game, that I’m playin’… *------*------*------*------*------*------*------*------*------*------*------*------*------* She gave the red-head a look and raised a delicate eyebrow, then shook her head. She grinned and said lightly, some ideas forming in her twisted little mind already, "So, we gonna rush in? Have either traps to guard the flag or someone else? I know I need to make rounds at my traps, but I dunno what it is you all want to do with this..." she held out her hands, still holding the daggers and the earplugs shrugging. She focused on everyone who spoke, telling their names, and smiled, pinning different things about them. Jenks would be easy to remember, she had a fish named that once who was about as jumpy as he was, though she would never actually tell the boy that. The Huntress would be slightly easy, but harder than most, she could just remember her by the fact she had nothing to jump out to Dani, which stood out all in its own. Melody, well, she was most likely one of the most unique campers she had had the pleasure to meet, and even if she was half monster, she seemed nice, and well, she gave them earplugs, which meant she had something planned for her voice considering her parent. The two other girls she could remember by the fact that they both shared one relative. The only one who hadn't spoken up was the blond boy, though she could wait for him to introduce himself. *------*------*------*------*------*------*------*------*------*------*------*------*------* But if you wanna’ have a go… I just wanna’ let you know…..Never gonna’ give in never gonna’ give it up no, You can’t take me… ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ She blushed slightly when it turned out that she didn't have the worst situation, and looked up to see that the Melody girl had stepped up to stand by her. She smiled a bright smile, definitely from both godly sides, and had the courage to watch everyone else as they made their introductions. She cocked her head as the son of Mania spoke, and watched as his eyes seemed to travel over the words all over, she wondered if he could focus on things as small as an ant from a standing position, and be able to count the legs with the amount of attention he seemed to notice in everything. She looked st her... Half relative as she came into the clearing, and cocked her head to the other side, her smile widening. Maybe it wont be so bad with this team. They seem rather welcoming. she spoke up with her opinion on what they should do, "I think that it would be better... Ummm... Tactics? To rush in blindly, probably not something they would expect. Though, I know that there are two our of the Bog Three on that side, definitely giving them an advantage. We'd really have to kick butt to get this." ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ I’m Free! I had a dream - of the wide open prairie I had a dream - of the pale morning sky I had a dream - that we flew on golden wings And we were the same - just the same - you and I <---------------------------------------------------/-/-/-----------------------------------------------------------<<< She grinned her sunny grin at her fathers technical sister, her almost aunt and nodded in agreement to the everybody has times when their late comment. She saw that everyone was holding one of the packets except the daughter of the siren, and stated in a questioning tone to the girl, "I should probably grab one, shouldn't I?" without waiting for an answer she bounced into the clearing even more and scooped one up from the ground, seeing that it was what she had suspected, earplugs so that she could sing. She blinked a few times and shrugged, shaking her head at the idea in it. She knew that it was one type of the musical arts she could never hear, as much as it tempted. She felt that those in the team were good, though she knew that she wouldn't be able to remember their names till after a few days of knowing them, and hoped no one quizzed her on them. She listened to others opinions and stated, "I think, that I agree with Miss Khloie, much more surprising to have no plan as the plan, than to have a plan. If that makes any sense... Hmmmmmm..." she pondered what she said for a moment and then shrugged, remembering the one time she had met her dad, and the poor poetry he had spoken, She was glad she wasn't that impulsive, she might've scared the group with that. She grinned at everyone and hummed one of the tunes she liked, bouncing to the silent rhythm section in her head. >>>----------------------------------------------------\-\-\------------------------------------------------------------> We are like birds of a feather We are two hearts joined together We will be forever as one

A boy with black hair and medium tanned skin strolled out of his cabin. He looked at his teammates lining up. he noticed who he was teamed up with. Great.. Now I have to wear earplugs.... Well.. At least I know ahead of time. He sighed as he toke the little baggy holding the earplugs. He placed one in each ear. He hated how they seemed to drown out most noises. The kind of noises his whole mind focuses on during battle. He knew he'll have to be extra careful when moving about. Hopefully the girl could make the enemy be blind to there surroundings. That'll help largely. He went over to the girl who was trying to come up with an actual plan. he was about to suggest to head in then have two volunteers sneak toward the flag. Possibly the best. When the horn sound. He cursed his luck and got ready to find the flag. He figured his ability would kick in since there was no Hermes campers in the actual camp, yet. It is harder during the summer. With all the Hermes children running around. He hated how they interrupt his talent to find things. Whether on his team or not it did not matter.
He sighed and watched his teammates. He started to focus at where the North hide the flag. He figured he'll have to find it before everyone spread out. His mind scanned trying to focus on it. He quickly shouted before anyone could leave. He saw large vines with thorns growing over the flag. He realized that they had used the stupid planters to protect it. He knew shouting would not help. Everybody had earplugs in his ears. Great.. Another reason to hate earplugs! Shoot! He ran to catch up thinking the battle was pointless. He sighed and hid himself in the shadows. It wasn't like shadow traveling. It was where you easily blended in with the shadows. You can be seen when the light is shined on you. Another reason he hated this game. It was during the day. He loathed this game greatly. Don't ask him about it. You would get a large list of complaints.

How could he have even begun to hope that introductions wouldn't be necessary?
"I'm Colin Mills." He paused, wondering if the others were even listening. Son of... son of Hades." It was more of a curse than a gift. His companion laid a comforting head of his knee, and the chill that it brought surprised him as usual. His head turned expectantly as the boy arrived, and he smiled, recognising the face. He semi-knew the thief boy, and a familiar face was welcome. The greeting that he would have given was cut off by the horn. "I suppose we'll just charge in, then. They'll be expecting us to protect the flag in some way, so perhaps if it is hidden that will be protection enough." A smile appeared at the corners of his mouth, and the she-fox spirit got to her feet, gazing up at him with expectant black eyes. "Hang in there, we'll go soon." He assured her, rolling his eyes as she let out a sigh. His gaze traveled to the girl who called herself Melody. "Shall we put these in?" He took the earplugs out of the pocket in his Adias™ sweatshirt.
