Male Rank: Warlord Prince

Weapon:
As Blood, he is familiar with all "gentlemanly" forms of combat (IE: Dueling) as well as basic usage of Eyrien cpmbat weapons (warblade, bladed sticks, sticks and the frying pan)Description:
He stands just over five feet tall (short for a Hyallian) with dark skin that comes natural to the race, as well as the dark hair. His hair is very long, and a very dark purple (most people assume it is black.) His eyes are ice blue, not the standard gold of the race. He is very broad shouldered and narrow waisted, his back is covered in scars, ranging in thickness from paper thin to thick and ropey. he refuses to talk about them. He generally dresses in well cared for clothes, not overly fancy, but made with the highest quality materials available, unless you know what to look for you would assume he is not all that rich. His right leg was damaged by the Queens in Terille, there is no way to heal it. He walks with a cane.History:
Originally born in Tereille, he suffered at the hands of the first queens, being used as a slave before escaping through a portal to Kaileer. He eventually set up a small cabin in the forests surrounding Ebon Askavi. Though he tried to live a quiet life, he was eventually noticed by Draca and was "politely advised" that he needed to speak with Geoffry to learn protocol and proper manners. 500 years later, he is still learning.Personality:
As a warlord prince, he is very volatile, though not nearly as bad as *other* warlord princes, he has trouble knowing when to keep his mouth shut, and has, on more than one occasion, caused outright civil war with a careless word. He has no known family, no listed or acknowledged parents or guardians. Being considered an orphan while he grew up was worse, in his eyes, than being considered a bastard. He will attack and kill for even the slightest provocation in regards to his parentage.Role-Playing Sample:
The shelves in the library of Ebon Askavi creak as more dust settles and adds its weight to the ever-thickening accumulation. The stack of books to the left of Marcus have all been wiped clean, as has a small semi-circle on the table on which he is working.Additional Information:
Sighing to himself he reads over his notes again. Geoffry should enlist a hearth-witch to maintain the books and the upkeep of the Black Mountain. He reaches up to touch a small lump on the back of his head, still tender, from the last time he made THAT suggestion. He was pretty sure that the book that had "fallen off a shelf" to hit him in the BACK of the head, had been priceless. He was also sure the Geoffry would be far out of arms-reach should more books just "fall off the shelf" if he suggested that again.
Geoffry had never been forthcoming with information regarding protocol, moreso, he had been LESS forthcoming in regards to information about the other Blood races. Not just the Eyrians and their ilk, but the Kindred as well. Marcus had spent the last twenty or so years pouring through volumes of Craft lore, ledgends, historical accounts and records made by the Black Widows that made mention of the Kindred and how to interact with them.
He was NOT, however, compiling a single volume of information on how to interact with the Kindred. Geoffry told him this time and again. Marcus refused to believe that, time and again.
With a wave of his hand, he vanished his notes and stood from the table. His eyes blurred from the hours of reading. Picking up his cane, he starts the long walk back to his cottage in the woods.
Geoffry would tell him to ride the winds or take a coach. Again. Marcus would ignore him. Again. Draca would mutter and hiss something about Males. Again.
It had always been the same routine with them. For the last few hundred years it had been the same. Marcus would come to the library and look with dispare at the stack of things that Geoffry had decided he needed to know, He would resolutely ignore half the stack of books, selecting things that interested him the most first. Geoffry would lock him in the library until he finished ALL the reading. Draca would mutter about Males. and they would all generally move on with life.
