Stephanie stood in the Realm of Fire, swiftly passing into the Realm of Water, simply traveling to the Realm of Earth, and finishing her brief journey in the Realm of Air. Then, there she was. Stephanie was standing on the city streets. The Realm of Thieves. She appeared where she always did; next to her "warehouse". Stephanie walked within the house and rummaged through the drawers. She needed something new. Of course, in any other Realm, Stephanie would have gone about and gotten a job. However, in the Realm of Thieves, Stephanie was going to con someone. She knew that was what she was good at.
Walking over to the closet, Stephanie put on the bold strapless mini dress, threw on the fur scarf that she'd stolen from someone's penthouse apartment. Pearl necklace and diamond earrings, Stephanie looked like a rich girl headed off to a rich girl party. Let's see, if push comes to shove, I have to be able to fall back on my look. As ugly as I am, if I act scandalous, people will assume I am a whore, therefore I'll be allowed places under 'favors', that I don't intend to follow through with, she thought, and decided it was best to rehearse before going into the field. Stephanie pulled out her heels and put them on as sexy as she could. Fail, but hopefully it'll do...
Stephanie stepped out of her warehouse. She walked deliberately toward the town, dialing on the expensive cell phone she'd stolen. "Ronnie's Limo and Taxi Service, Lonnie speaking." [/i] The voice of the person struck Stephanie. She was used to dealing with Ronnie. Time for a façade. "Hullo," Stephanie said, mocking a British accent. "I would like to request a Limo to pick me up at my hotel." "Which hotel? What color limo?"[/i] Lonnie is out of practice... The color question is asked before the where question... "I'd like a white limo, please. Pick up at the Grand Plaza." Stephanie finished her statement just as she entered the doorway on the grand lobby. She held her head high, like that of a wealthy person. The doorman walked over to her, but Stephanie just waved him off with a wave of her gloved hand.
The shimmering limo slid to a halt in front of the doors. Stephanie walked with pride through them, entering back into the daylight. The chauffeur quickly opened the back door on the vehicle and Stephanie climbed in. But, just as she began to tell the driver just to drive until she found the right building, someone, or something, opened the door to her left. Blinded by the sunlight, Stephanie couldn't see who or what was standing there.[/blockquote] Word Count;; 513 Muse;; Yee Hah!! Outfit;; Clicks!Tags;; Open!!

Virginia couldn’t help but hold back a giggle when Alabama made a face at her, she was trying to find someone to con, what better place to look for someone to pickpocket then the Grand Plaza. It was a fancy hotel, and fancy hotels meant rich people… you just had to wait for the right one to come in and wait until they left, hopefully on foot. The girl didn’t look like she normally would, most of the time you’d see her in a jeans and a t-shirt for this kind of thing. But today that wasn’t the case, she was wearing a long-black dress, with silver thread sewn on to make the dress more fancy-looking, to cover her shoulders she was wearing a white satin cover-up. There was always the jewelry to think about too, a freshwater pearl necklace and onyx earrings were good enough to serve the purpose. Then there were her shoes, open-toed black heels, they were the only part of her outfit she hadn’t stolen, but that was only because of the fact she chose dragging Alabama to the shoe store one time when he asked, “Hey Gin, What do you want to do today?” Maybe there was also the fact that they were only 25 dollars got her to buy them too, that was one of the best things about Payless, excellent shoes for cheap price. She couldn’t help but giggle this time when he made another funny face at her, “You’re a goof-ball, but you already knew that Bama!” She wrapped both of her arms around his neck, hugging him before letting go.
She tilted her head when Alabama didn’t reply to that, Though a few moments later he sighed at her and turned her head towards the door. When she saw the women she couldn’t help but scowl, Ah… the average whore… She thought, using her hands to cover Alabama’s eyes. The way she didn’t want to Alabama to see the rich-girl in the bold mini-dress made it clear she was jealous. I’m not normally like this…. I shouldn’t care about this kind of thing… I’m his best friend not his girlfriend… Ugh! She thought, shaking her head slightly and moving her hands back to her lap.
Alabama couldn’t help but laugh at Virginia, “Gin, I’m not interested in her like that – she looks rich – I say we should try to con that one.” He whispered to her, tilting his head when a limo pulled up in front of the hotel and the women walked through the front doors of the hotel and got into the limo. He turned to his partner in crime before she could open her mouth, “No we are not renting a limo to follow her, we can walk.” He whispered quickly, standing up and offering her his arm, smiling at her when she slipped her own arm in his. “And now, Let’s walk!” He grinned at her before leading her out of the hotel doors.
Walking after a limo was harder than he had thought, Gin’s feet must hurt. Alabama thought, looking over at the girl concerned but if they did hurt the younger thief didn’t show it. He stopped still when he saw the limo, someone or something had opened one of the doors. He slipped his arm away from Virginia’s before walking over to the limo, “Ma’am, Are you alright?” He asked, looking at the limo’s door tilting his head before turning his gaze on Stephanie.
Virginia sighed before walking over to Alabama and the limo

Stephanie squinted as her eyes adjusted. How could her eyes be this horrid? She placed a slender, black heeled leg out and stepped out. "Go on," she told the driver, and tossed in the money. She scrutinized the individuals in front of her. A young girl, and a rather attractive young man. Both dressed like they had money. Only, there are definitely cons, those shoes are from payless, she thought. Then the smell reached her. A traveller. One of these two smelled like she did. Upon closer examination, it discovered to be the boy. I thought I was the only one...
Stephanie smiled at the boy. It was her flirty smile and she knew it was beautiful. "All right," she began, dropping the accent. "I know who you both are, your the same as me. Cons." She scanned her brown eyes across the young man again. He was traveller beautiful, that was for sure. The girl next to him was pretty, but she had to be like 12, or something, and she definitely belonged in this world...
She turned her skeptical gaze back to the other traveller. "Although you, you, are different," Stephanie said, pointing to the young man. She tossed her brown hair over her shoulder; Stephanie placed a firm finger on his chest. Strong. Of course, he's a traveller, she thought. "You're not what you seem. Are you a con or are you the son of a god? Are you a warrior or a creature of the night? Are you an ugly? Pretty? Special?" Stephanie's knowing grin spread across her face, she knew she was right and probably hitting a spot that the traveller wouldn't want people to know.
"What would you say if I said he was all of the above?" Stephanie asked the little girl. She glanced sideways at the traveller, and caught a jealous glare from the little girl. Oh, she's got a crush on him, if she knew what he was, then she probably wouldn't like him so much. Stephanie thought about a plan, and decided it was great. She thought now was a good time to execute it. The plan would tick off the little girl, and let the traveller knew that she knew.
Stephanie placed a nailpolished hand on the boy's blue polo. She turned her attention to him entirely, ignore the girl with him. Stephanie wrapped her other hand around his shoulder, and pulled herself up to his ear. "Congratulations, you're not the only one anymore," she whispered. "I know you're a traveller, and by now you know that I am too." She glanced at the little girl, and decided to add the icing on the cake. She moved the hand around the shoulder to his hair, and wrapped it down his cheek as she sank back to the ground.
"We should have dinner some day," Stephanie said to the traveller. "Oh, by the way, I'm Stephanie."

Alabama sniffed the air, Dang it, Traveller… Oh please don’t blow my cover. He thought, looking over to Virginia before looking back at the women. He couldn’t help but chuckle when she threw the money at the driver and the limo drove away. This one’s got attitude… well at least it seems like it.
Virginia glared at the women when she smiled a flirty smile at Alabama before claiming one of his hands and flashing Stephanie a fake, award-winning smile. When she mentioned they were Cons her eyes flashed but other then that she didn’t respond to her words.
Alabama sighed when she mentioned that he was different, he had a feeling that he would have some explaining to do if the other traveler kept running her mouth, and he really didn’t want to put up with Gin’s glare, and “Why didn’t you tell me? Oh wait, I don’t care.”” before she stormed off. He ignored her Stephanie’s finger on his chest, though when she started mentioning the people of the different places. “Let me guess, Your in Riverclan, are a Special, or your both.” He shot a look at Virginia, squeezing the hand that she had claimed.
Virginia giggled, “Hm, I’d say your on drugs but…” She shot a look at Alabama quickly, “… The way Bama here is acting it must be true… he wouldn’t react like a guilty little boy if it wasn’t.” She squeezed his hand tighter, shooting Stephanie a jealous glare Is that what she thinks will scare me away, fool.
Alabama blushed when the female traveller put a hand on his polo, before noticing when Gin shooting another jealous glare at the women, Gin… Jealous… about what…? Oh sh*t! She likes me doesn’t she… He chuckled, “Kinda noticed I’m not the only one, Ma’am.” He whispered back, following her gaze to Virginia before looking at her again.
Virginia let go of Alabama’s hand to clap hers together, “Oh look! Your friend here is inviting us to dinner!” She giggled, grabbing Alabama’s hand again. Alabama sighed, “I’m Alabama and this is my best friend, Virginia.” Word Count: 414 Muse: Notes: *prods Virginia* You know that isn't what she meant right? "No? Really?" *giggles*Tags: Stephanie

Stephanie smiled again, knowing her grin would become slowly more and more appealing. That was what she was good at. The simple growing con. It worked most of the time. It only ever failed on the total uncaring scum... Stephanie looked at the little girl briefly, out of the corner of her eye. The young girl seemed to be trying to make Stephanie jealous. Whatever, he's a traveller, he won't be bound to a girl that can't leave her own world, Stephanie wanted to tell the younger person. But she kept her mouth shut. The traveller wouldn't exactly want his secret broadcasted. That and Stephanie herself didn't exactly want her secret from being broadcasted through this world of liars, cheaters, and thieves.
Any of the worlds would instantly spell death for people like us, Stephanie thought. People of different held different beliefs that only their deities should be able to travel from place to place. Yet here was Stephanie who could do it as well... In one world, she was almost burned as a witch for her power. Never went back there again and never dared tell a soul about her gift again. It just turned out to be unwise...
"Maybe one, maybe the other, maybe both, or maybe neither," Stephanie said, her voice taking the tone of wiser then her years. "If I do say, you seem a bit slow... You must be a Pretty, or are you a sunny camper?" Stephanie's eyes flashed. She frankly was curious as to what he was like in other worlds. However she had to deal with this one at the moment... "Perhaps in Fire would be the best place to discuss the matter?" Stephanie suggested. Referring to the realm of Fire that had to be crossed in order to travel.
Stephanie shot the other person an evil glare. Drugs?! Stephanie thought with aghast. How dare she?! Angered, Stephanie couldn't stop herself from snapping, "And you wouldn't be saying stuff like that if you knew who I was." Oh shit... Um, dumb thing to say for sure... Stephanie thought to herself. I'm a fool...
Stephanie didn't really want to deal with this little bratty girl any longer, yet she didn't really desire travelling somewhere else just yet. She still needed to find the world that fit her like a glove. I'll bet it was home world... she thought with dismay. Stephanie wished she could find the one place that she just fit, but she was stuck going from the same world to another. The same five every single day... "Yes, dinner," Stephanie said, her voice sweetened with honey. She pulled her wallet and checked her goods. Credit cards, debit cards, cash, and checks, perfect! "My treat." Stephanie finished her sentence with a roll of her brown eyes. Why was she doing this? Word Count;; 537 Muse;; Ballin'!! Tags;; Alabama, Virginia

Oh, lordie, lordie. The pickpocket sat at the edge of a wrought-iron bench, glum face perched on his palms as he surveyed the sparse clusters of city dwellers parading before him. He'd fled the Port to hunt for entertainment, but it had all been in vain; nothing unusual had caught his eye, no new glittering gewgaw had spun into view. He'd traded the stench of rancid fish and sailors and ships for the stink of cars and commuters, apparently... it had seemed like such a wonderful idea when it had first taken root, but the crop was terribly disappointing. Evading the boundaries of every day routines for something novel! At least, that had been the general idea. Around Tussen territory, someone usually kept an eye on him - often with his knowledge, but typically without. They tended to avoid interfering unless it looked like he was about to endanger himself or someone else, but knowing that there may be an invisible guardian watching tended to put a damper on the mood... not that this was any better. And anyway, the civilians who had business in Tussen grounds didn't have any illusions when it came to who called the shots. If they caught a clumsy thief, they might box your ears or hassle you in some other minor way - he'd been dropped into a dumpster once - but there were no real hazards. You could occasionally even get a chuckle out of them if you played the precocious and harmless beginner. Citygoers, though: those were the ones you had to watch out for. Seth swiped his filth-smattered hands on his nondescript jeans in an attempt to clean them, then rubbed at his face with the hem of his gray shirt; he mostly just succeeded in smearing the soot around, making himself look more like a ragtag urchin than usual... albeit, a neatly-dressed one that could afford shoes. He absentmindedly hummed a simple melody under his breath as his borderline-desperate attention returned to the crowds. He was becoming quite adept at pickpocketing - he'd practiced enough - but that on its own couldn't alleviate the monotony. I could return the wallets, maybe... he thought doubtfully; that would be amusing, wouldn't it? Keep a few dollars for himself and then replace it into the unaware owner's pocket? Or maybe pennies! That made him snort, but the thought evaporated the moment he began to seriously consider it. He still had to scrounge up some lunch; a doughnut from a gas station would do, but at a penny a steal that would still be far too much work. The boy's dark eyes roamed the sidewalks before stumbling across a well-dressed trio on the other side of the road; his mouth tilted into a slight frown at the sight. The boy was plain enough, but the two women were surprisingly elegant. One girl looked as sleek as an obsidian eel, well-dressed but not near as obtrusive as the other. The second woman was like a tropical bird who'd escaped from a local aviary; she was not only colorful but a myriad of textures. Frills, diamonds, silks, fur... "Yowza." Seth murmured softly, tilting his head back a little as he considered the unlikely group. Only half aware of his actions, he stood, stretched, and started in the opposite direction of the three, only to cross the street a bit farther down and backtrack. His casual pace slowed slightly the closer he got to them, focus apparently more on the cracks in the cement or the rust-choked street signs than the trio a bit farther ahead; out of the corner o his eye he caught a glimpse of her wallet flicking open. What better opportunity? It would be quite dramatic to just snatch it out of those manicured hands, but there wouldn't be much finesse to such a daring move. Plus, rich cityfolk? They probably all had cell phones, ready to dial up the police at the slightest hint of illegal activity. But think of the doughnuts! Seth tensed a moment, preparing himself dor a quick dash, but the second his gaze flit to her tan face he relaxed. The two others - the eel girl and the boy - were forgotten almost immediately as he strolled up to the group; he gawked unembarrassed for a moment or two, mind scrambling to place a purpose with a familiar face, before stopping a yard or two from the group. Now, where would he have seen her...? "Oh," the boy said softly to himself as the answer became apparent, snapping the fingers on his left hand. His half-dazed tone became vaguely annoyed. "Figures that you show up now and not before." He stated bluntly. She was a Tussen, he could recall - he'd seen her picture once recently. A group had specifically requested her for some job or another, but she hadn't been around at the time... so what was she doing here?

Alabama grinned at Stephanie, turning to Virginia when she whacked him in the back of the head, “What the hell was that for, Gin?” He asked, slightly annoyed. He tilted his head, trying to catch what his friend was muttering under her breath, though she was so quiet the boy wasn’t able to catch a single word she was mumbling about. He looked back over to the other girl, “Gin here already guessed…” He told her, sighing, But that’s since you’ve already said too much. He thought, shooting his friend a sideways glance.
Virginia laughed, “Yes, so any b*tch* ‘Your not a traveller’ comments can go directly to me… just keep it down, They’d kill you, ya-know.” She whispered her words quietly, making sure that only the girl and Alabama heard her. “So… Are you going to hang around here for a little while, Stephanie? Since you and Bama have the same power-thingy.” She asked, actually smiling at the women, and letting go of Alabama’s hand. It was clear, that although Stephanie did make her jealous, she was willing to stop attempting to make the other person jealous… just for the sake of a highly possible future friendship between Alabama and Stephanie, and… maybe a slight friendship between her and Stephanie. It all depended on what was to happen in the future.
Alabama nodded, “Your right, Can’t say too much ‘round here.” He told her, accepting the possibility of unexpected eavesdroppers… and the end result… death. He smiled, “Maybe I’m one, or I’m the other. I might be neither…” He trailed off, looking around. “…Maybe I’m both.” He whispered softly. He then shook his head, “Maybe another time, I gotta keep a eye on Gin here… She has a tendency to get in whole lot of trouble… people tend to gang up on her…” He trailed off, his eyes dilating slightly when he thought about it.
Virginia patted Alabama’s shoulder, “Nah, It’s fine… I can handle myself.” She smiled at him before meeting Stephanie’s glare. “Oh, goshness, Seriously Stephanie, I don’t really think your on drugs. The way Alabama, here, reacted was enough proof for me to believe you.” She growled, the annoyance was clear in her eyes. “I don’t want to fist-fight with anyone today, If I wanted to, I could very easily p*ss off my dad…” She sighed, offering her hand for Stephanie to shake. “Peace, I’ll try not to be a pain in the *ss.”
Alabama shook his head, “I could pay, Stephanie…” He told her, reaching into his pant’s pocket and pulling out his wallet. He opened it, taking a quick look, Gin’s Unlimited Gold Card, Check! Cash, Check! Okay, I’m good. He noted, slightly smiling. He turned to Virginia, showing her his wallet. “You do know I have your card… Right?” He whispered to her. Virginia nodded, “Yup, I handed it to you to keep in your wallet, Silly Goose.” She smiled at him, hugging her friend before turning to Stephanie, “Non, I cannot allow you to do that, Miss Stephanie…” She shook her head, before turning to Alabama, “You as well, If you want, we could drop by my house, My parents would hand me money, We have plenty of that…” She grinned slightly when she thought about how all the money her parents and her had stolen in the past added up.
She turned on her heel to face Seth, “Oh great, another Tussen…” She muttered under her breath. She then forced a fake, ‘golden’ smile, “I apologize, I had a very special job for our friend here, and she had to go out of the city to be able to finish it.” She laughed nervously, “I probably should informed your boss I was borrowing someone…” She trailed off, looking down at her feet for a moment before looking up sadly at him. One thing this interaction was teaching Stephanie was that she was not the type for this world. She didn't belong here... She didn't belong anywhere. Stephanie felt bad for saying what she had. Short tempered. Her achilles heel, that was for certain. Stephanie sighed. She actually wanted to be friends with these people. They were interesting. She also couldn't admit out loud how excited she was to meet another Traveller. He was rather cute as well. A plus that Stephanie hadn't exactly anticipated. All Travellers were good looking, but Stephanie was kind of immune to it. That's just how it turned out.
Stephanie bit her lip and stared at her feet. She'd said too much and Virginia knew. But at least there was one fact that would save the two Travellers's lives. Virginia knew Alabama and was prepared to save them. "Thanks," Stephanie said. She didn't want to die. "I'm just not used to this world... Not used to any world..." Stephanie had never shared her adversions to the worlds. Not that she'd met anyone that she could share with. Still...
"Please," Stephanie insisted. "I'm quite the con here... I have a whole warehouse loaded with stuff..." Stephanie actually wanted an opportunity to spend some of the stuff that she'd collected. She usually dined when she visited the Realm of the Pretties. Free food. Then the other Tussan showed up. She thought for a moment. She hardly remembered names of the real worldly people. They weren't exactly important for her to remember... Um, yea, Seth... she remembered. "Indeed. I feel my mission was successful. Does you boss agree?" Stephanie answered and smiled at Alabama.

Seth's eyebrows knitted together in mild confusion as the eel-girl began speaking, his attention immediately shifting to her. Her voice was as slick as her dress, and the pickpocket felt greasy just listening to her. She was pretty, he noticed off-handedly, but in a peculiar way; her eyes seemed enormous and her round face was childish. The face didn't match the dress; he wondered vaguely if it was as silky as it looked or if it was more like cheap vinyl. The blonde refocused and nodded rapidly as Virginia finished speaking, hazily embarrassed that he'd interrupted the trio's affairs. He couldn't tell what major group the girl and her companion belonged to - if any - just by looking at them, but hopefully his blunder wouldn't jeopardize relationships. "Sorry, sorry," he mumbled, blue-eyed gaze flitting to his scuffed shoes as he shifted awkwardly. The man (though he was more of a boy than anything else) looked back over at Stephanie when she began to speak but said nothing, wishing that he had never interrupted them in the first place. "What sort of mission?" Seth asked suddenly, tilting his head a bit to the side in blatant curiosity. His attention began to wander over the gathering almost immediately after this was asked, and he nervously jammed his itching fingers into his pockets; he was almost afraid that, at the sight of so many bulging wallets, they'd just act of their own accord and snatch one. It would hardly do to steal from a thief. "So, you all are going out to celebrate now? Or something?" The Tussen asked innocently, rocking back and forth on his heels. If this mysterious 'mission' was already over with, he couldn't imagine what else they would be doing, congregating in public like this. "Can I come?" He was, after all, starving.

Alabama could relate to Stephanie, They both knew how it was to not fit in to any of the worlds. Although he was somewhat able to make a life in this world, He still had the need to travel often, and he did just that. He preferred traveling to the Camp Half Blood over The Realms of the Pretties though, just since he hated being a bottle-brain. Not that you could blame him though, No one likes being an airhead when they aren’t anywhere else. He smiled at her though, she’d make a good friend, and it would be nice to finally talk about it with someone. And I could talk to Gin too, she’d like to hear about the worlds. He thought, now that Virginia knew, he could talk to her about the other realms. She’d find them interesting, it was a slight shame that she’d never get to meet the people there and see the places herself, but he knew she loved a great story, and he could give her just that, as long as she never repeated a word to anyone, well, unless Stephanie… she would know anyway though.
Virginia looked at Stephanie for a few moments, She’s ashamed that she said too much… She noted, she looked over to Alabama for a moment before looking back over at the women. Her and Bama’s secret is safe with me, No one hurts my friends… She told herself, nodding to herself. “Of course, Stephanie. I don’t know how you can manage it, I have enough trouble adapting to my own world…” She smiled at her then. “Do you have a place to stay while you’re here? ‘Cause if you wish, you can stay at my place. My parents won’t care, What’s another person in a huge house only four people live in!” She clapped her hands together, grinning.
Alabama nodded, “If you wish, Stephanie.” He replied, knowing from his experiences with Virginia that when a girl wanted to pay, you better let them pay… unless it was for something ‘expensive’ then he always tried to convince her to let him pay. Sometimes it would work, but that was a rare occurrence. When she asked him if her mission was successful he nodded, “Highly Successful, Ma’am.” He answered, smiling.
Virginia‘s face had turned into a slight pout at Seth’s confusion before turning into a smile when he nodded as if he understood. When he started to mumble sorry, she walked over to him. “It’s alright.” She told him, trying to catch his blue gaze. When he asked what the mission was she laughed, “If you don’t mind me answering your question, Instead of Miss Alholinna or Mr. Moore here, There was someone’s safe we needed to get into, and the only way to get to it was through coning the guard. A job well suited for her.” She noticed him put his hands in his pockets as he spoke. “I know how tempting bulging wallets can be, It took me years to be able to ignore them and I raised a thief.” She whispered to him. She then smiled a knowing smile at him.
Alabama eyes narrowed when Seth asked if he could come, before he relaxed at the innocence behind it. “Yes we’re going out to celebrate, It was a highly successful mission.” He allowed, watching the thief closely. He wasn’t going to be stupid enough to fall for the false innocence card, if that was what he was doing. Virginia rolled her eyes at her friend’s cautiousness, “Bama, Did we switch roles or something, He doesn’t mean any harm.” She told him before turning her attention to Seth again. “Sure you can come. I’m Virginia, What’s your name?” Word Count: 689 Notes: Sorry it took so long! Muse: So~So Tags: Stephanie, Seth
