Mia walked silently along the beach, her shoes hitting the sand. The sun was high in the sky, about noon, and she was dead tired. She could have very easily fallen asleep in the sand if the beach wasn’t for the cold. It wasn’t summertime yet, and it was defiantly not beach-weather. Which is why she was walking along the water, she didn’t want to run into too many people. She, however, did wish to run into someone, it was so lonely at times in Camp when you really didn’t have a lot of friends. Sure, she had Kate to talk to but the deputy huntress had other friends too… or so it seemed to Mia, Kate had mentioned Cameron and Carwyn once or twice.
Soon she stopped very suddenly, plopping down on the sand. She yawned, tilting her head slightly as she watched the waves lap onto the shore.Word Count: 158 Muse : Not so good... Outfit : 'Click

Jenks meandered around. No set destination in his ADHD riddled mind. In the usual black sweatshirt, Jenks seemed to head in a beeline for the beach. All right, I'll run with it, he thought, his craziness not apparent in his thoughts. It also wasn't apparent in the rain. That's why whenever it rain, Jenks left the camp boundaries. He'd get busted for it eventually, but he didn't care... It was the only place his thoughts didn't trip over themselves.
Upon arriving at the beach, Jenks heard the sound of a person yawning. Quickly, he ducked down, not wanting to be seen. He peered out through the bushes, and the first thing that he glimpsed was the most beautiful girl, not counting the Aphrodite sisters, he'd ever seen. And she, appearing from his vantage point, to be real, not superficial. Maybe I should go......................... Talk! I should go talk to her.... he thought, his thoughts trailing off as a frothy wave crashed on the shore. So, Jenks emerged and walked towards the girl. "Um............. Hi! Hi there................... Jenks! I'm Jenks, Robert Jenks, but everyone................... Calls! Mia tilted her head the waves, I wonder what it would be like to be a wave, to move back and forth with the tide… would it be – squirrel – where was I…. oh right waves. She yawned, rubbing her eyes. Darn, Daytime, makes me so… tired She shook her head tiredly, trying to wake herself up more. When she heard someone start to speak she turned her head in they’re direction. "Um............. Hi! Hi there................... Jenks! I'm Jenks, Robert Jenks, but everyone................... Calls! Everyone calls me Jenks," She smiled at him, “Hello… I’m – Squirrel – I’m Mia, Mia Black.” She said, getting distracted by a squirrel for a few moments before getting back on track with her words… at least what she thought she was talking about with Jenks.

Jenks smiled as the girl had an ADHD moment. Most demigods weren't all that noticeable with their ADHD, at least until they have a conversation with Jenks. He radiates it, or at least that's how it seemed... Mother, please allow me to focus, he prayed silently to Mania. She's really pretty, and I don't want to screw this up... He glanced at the sky for a brief moment, wondering if his mother even heard him. Robert, I will grant you temporarily relief from your insanity. You may have one full day of being normal. Jenks started slightly as the voice sounded in his head. His mother. Thank you mother, he replied. "You're from my cabin right? Mia smiled back Jenks, Ah, ADHD moments tend to – that – do that to me… She held back a laugh at how mixed up the thought was. She yawned, looking up at the sky. Tired…. Nap… FOCUS!!! She thought to herself, her eyes drooped slightly before they flew widen. She turned her gaze from the sky to the water, at the waves. I wonder how the water fells like… It might be warm… She thought, having lived in New York most of her life, Mia knew that the water could sometimes be very warm when least expected. She smiled at Jenks, “Yup, Daughter of Nyx. Your Mania’s son right?” Before she could even consider stopping herself she offered him her hand to shake. Jenks flipped his blonde hair out of his eyes. He looked at the brunette in front of him. Cute. Just like he thought originally through the chaos of his own mind. "Yep, the goddess of insanity... I hate to say it, but people tend to act different around me.... Slightly more insane then usual; I radiate insanity..." Jenks said and smiled. Thinking quickly, for once, Jenks realized that he should try his hand at flirting.
"I hear that children of Nyx are prettier in the night," he began. "However, I think it's false. You couldn't get prettier even if you were the great grand child of Aphrodite as well." Jenks stared into Mia's blue eyes with his own gold ones, hoping she realized how sincere he was being... Word Count;; 169 Muse;; Lolz, terrible... Mia brushed a brown hair that had fallen in front of her eyes behind her ear. He’s kind-of cute… She thought to herself, smiling. Her usual somber expression was gone today it seemed, and for once it wasn’t replaced by an addled one. It seemed that seriousness and confusion was easily replaced by a smile, not that she was complaining, she wasn’t in a serious mood today. “But, Jenks, haven’t you heard, all the best people are bonkers.” She smiled at him happily, Found a hopefully new common expression.
She blushed, “I don’t know, You’d have to see me at night when I’m not…” She yawned, “…tired, Sorry about that, Daytime tends to do that to me. [/i] She yawned again, smiling at Jenks. She could see the sincerity in his eyes, which made her smile wider. He must of not met Kate, She’s much prettier then I am.
