History:

Colin's mother met who she thought was a cashier at a considerably young age, when she was only eightteen. Hades liked her more than she liked him. He followed her out of the store and back home without her knowing it, and changed form just as she got out of the car with her groceries, offering to help her take them in. She accepted his offer, as she and her roommates living on the top floor of the block of flats, which had no elevator. Things went on from there, and eventually she ended up leaving college to have her child. By this time, Hades had left, and all he had given her was a fake phone number.

Colin grew up without much care from his mother, in a poor community. He didn't do very well in school, and was generally looked down upon by anyone that he encountered. On the night before his twelfth birthday, (Hades was hasty) his father snuck into his house and transported him, bed and all, to Camp Half Blood without his mother's knowledge. He has lived there ever since, wallowing in his own sorrow and sulkiness.

Personality:

Colin has a sulky attitude towards almost everything and everyone. He isn't enthusiastic in any of the activities that take place at his camp, though he is surprisingly talented at most of them. The only thing that he participates in willingly in is the Capture the Flag games, which is lucky, since they are held so often. To the few people that he feels close to, he is extremely loyal, even kind at times. However, he is hurt easily, and finds it impossible to take insults without throwing one back.
