Zi stood on the mossy ground and stared up at the trees. The wind buffet her face and jostled her hair greatly. Why are they allowing the wind to penetrate the borders? Zi asked herself. They weren't allowing the cold weather of February, but it was cooler then in the summer. She shivered. It was shivering cold, but the cool air in combination with the wind that was howling around, was enough to make her shiver. The weather seemed to be getting in more lately. And I heard that tomorrow it is going to snow... she thought with mild disdain.
Zi pulled out her mechanical pencil and the container of lead. The pencil had a growing eraser and if she twisted it out the pencil transform into a long bow. She had pretty decent aim, but being a child of Demeter, she had to work for it. The container of lead, when clicked open, became a quiver of arrows. The heads of her arrows were half stainless steel and half celestial bronze.
Zi twisted the eraser and clicked open her lead. Within seconds, the girl was standing in the middle of the forest holding a bow and a quiver of arrows. Bored, Zi quickly sent the items back to their disguised state and put them in her jeans pockets.

Trent was up in a tree near by. His Dad had allowed him to stay in camp. It was partially to do with most of what a normal teacher could learn at this age. He was taught at the age of twelve. He was now 15 and a half. Not that it was any importance. He sat in the tree and looked calmly at the clouds and other trees.
He felt bare and disposed, what can you do when the trees are dormant? He didn't mind the cold wind that much. He felt more comfortable around it. Like it was some sort of door way into another world. Which knowing his life. It probably was. He looked down when he heard, the sound of clicks below. He saw a girl with long black hair. She didn't really catch his eye that much. He could actually careless about most girls.
He pretended he had no notice her at all and went back to his staring at other trees. He calculated the time till the warm season will come back. When he could easily blend in with his surroundings and sneak around. How he misses the days to watch from any where, without anyone knowing.
His only weapon of "gift" form his mother. Was a simple pocket knife. The only thing special about it was that it had bronze and steel mixed together. Big whoop. If he ever died in battle in the city. He will know who to blame. He had asked his Mother one day why a pocket knife. She simply told him "The most smallest creature, can be the most deadliest weapon." In other words she didn't have anything else. Trent was not going to let this get him down. His mother may only gave him a pocket knife. His father however gave him spy gadgets for emergencies. Which Trent experimented with and made into things that kill monsters.
He kept a few of those gadgets in his pockets right now. It was only three. One was pills that he had added a medium dose of a sleeping herb. That turned out having bronze inside of its roots. He had two small balls that when you click them they spread out into small razors. Only a person with experiencing of missing with quick pickpocket reflexes could work them.
He hid these items in his large goth pant pockets. His actual pants looked a tad baggy but was skinny around the waist. He wore a black shirt with a red dragon climbing up. His hair was in the same position as it always is.

Zi sighed. She could practically sense the boy in the tree. It was not easy to trick a child of Demeter by hiding in a tree. The tree pretty much shouted to Zi "He's up here!!". So, Zi walked to the foot of the tree and stared up a the boy. The wind buffeting her hair about her face. "Hello there," she called. She was pretty sure she reconized him. He was the son of Laverna, the super thief boy. Zi didn't know him personally, but she'd heard about him. She'd have to guard her jewellery closely. Zi didn't trust anyone, let alone a super thief. "Yes, I know you're there, you don't have to pretend like your not."
Zi pushed up her sleeves. She was too full of energy to stay on the ground like this, so she climbed. Quickly, like a second nature, she scaled the tree. "I'm Ziyi, but you can call me Zi," she said and extended her hand.

Trent sighed as the girl told him she was aware of him being in the tree. He gave a small not noticeable laugh to himself. Of course.. she's daughter of Demter... How can one forget? When she scaled the tree easily he wanted to give a sigh. He could climb really good but for someone with average skills. She.. She was like a cat. Just on limb to another. Which toke him deep thought to get to. It just wasn't right.
Trent turned his head at the girl with black hair who just climbed the tree. He wanted to act like he hadn't notice her. just pretend she wasn't there. Or simply jump down and walk off with hands in pockets. He hated to be bothered. However, the girl had a right. He was in her lonely space as well. This must be some kind of pay back. "The name is Trent." He didn't bother shaking her hand. He just looked from his staring out, toward her. She looked pretty... However, didn't most demigods look pretty in there own way.
He didn't bother asking her a question or continuing the greeting. She girl would probably be feeling awkward right about now. He would to, if he was dumb enough to be in her position.

Zi twitched her upper lip and tried not the chuckle. She dropped her hand in mild disappointment. "So," she began. "What brings you up in the tree?" A good question. Most people didn't skulk around in the trees like that. Not even the Demeter campers. Zi was actually curious about this boy. He seemed.... Different. He wasn't like everybody else around here. Zi adjusted her gray shirt, checking to make sure the white ribbon was still tied around her waist. Then she made a quick check of her jewellery, all there. She brushed her black hair behind her ears, in a failed attempt to keep it out of her face. The wind, worse up in the tree, kept putting it back into her face. Now, though, the black locks were littered with bark shavings from climbing the tree.

Trent let out a sigh. He answered with a calm quiet voice "When you look into the sky, you will see many things. Like the clouds moving slowly this way from the winds. Most likely soon to be snow. The trees seem so dead and lifeless. I was dreaming of the time when they are thriving. When I can hide easily among them without people bothering me, out of mere boredom." He looked away from her. He wanted her to know, he was talking about her.
He could careless if she was worried about her clothing and such. She was bothering him. She was being annoying girl. She is an enemy. That simple. He figured she would react in three ways. One she'll get angry and throw a hissy fit. Two she might try to be nice some more to win him over. Three well all of the above. He waited to see her reaction.

The forest was supposedly beautiful. Those who were lucky enough to see only it's outside shell seemed to think so, at least. To him, it was a nightmare to walk through it. The souls of dead bugs crawled through the undergrowth, darkening it with their misty presence. Bird souls were constantly moving from tree to tree, always silent, always sullen and serious. Every so often a fox would walk by, it's sunken eyes staring up at him imploringly. Yes, he hated his power. it tortured him endlessly, giving him nightmares when he was awake.
How naive he had been as a child, to think that everyone could see the dead. He was special, though he never knew it until he had turned twelve. That blasted father of his had carried him away to this... place. It was like endless summer camp. He hated, simply hated summer camp. All the activities that had been lain out for the campers were simple and boring. He excelled at them, but that didn't effect how he thought about them. He hadn't seen his mother in six whole years. She never visited him- she didn't care, though the sight of a familiar face would have given him comfort.
So what if monsters were out to get him? Let them come, for all he cared. He was very well trained, and could most likely fight them of with ease. The camp's barriers were breaking, anyway. That much was obvious. A sudden blast of wind made him wince as he trudged through the forest, squeezing his eyes shut to close the dead spirits out of his mind. It didn't work. He opened them again with a heavy sigh, and heard poetic words falling from a nearby tree.
Ah, yes. It was Laverna's boy, and someone from Demeter's cabin, both in a tree. He came to a halt somewhat awkwardly at the tree's base, glancing up at the two with mildly interested amber eyes. "Mind if I join you?" He was surprised at his own words. Had they really come from the sulky, moody, unpleasant Colin? He slicked back his neatly cut blonde hair with a cough, somewhat embarrassed.
I suppose I should start one of these too... Muse- I'm pretty pleased with this post. Tags- Zi, Trent Words- 376

ooc: Demeter doesn't have huntresses. Artemis does. Demeter has actual children, as she is not a maiden goddess...

OOC- What is wrong with me? Maybe that had something to do with the fact that I was looking at Lily's bios simultaneously as I wrote. I had meant to write child, or something of the sorts, but huntress came out. xP Sorry... Demeter is the goddess of the HARVEST. PLANTS. That's why Zi has that power. Okay, I think I have it in my head now. *Goes to edit*

Zi looked down the tree. She spotted a cute blonde standing at it's base. Zi smiled broadly. "I certainly don't mind, this grump might though," she proclaimed from the tree. Zi dangled her Ugg™ boats over the branch that she was sitting on. "But certainly, nobody really cares for a thief's opinion." Zi called upon one of the tree's branches to bend down toward the ground. It made a sort of a ramp. "See ya, for now," she said to the thief boy. She leapt to the branches and slid down like a snowboarder. She slowed to a stop at the foot of the tree.
"The name's Ziyi, but you can call me Zi," she said and held out her hand to be shaken. Zi's curly black hair was wind blown and shone in the fading light. She shivered slightly. There was a moderate feeling of death, and it was cold. He must be a child of Hades, most people don't feel like that... she thought, but still smiled.

The words put Colin in a good mood. Usually he was the one being called a grump, and yet the girl was sliding gracefully down the branch of a tree to greet him. He wasn't surprised to see that a butterfly spirit fluttered around her, attracted to her brightly coloured earrings, or perhaps just favoring her above the others. This was natural- spirits, animal spirits, at least, seemed to take a liking to those who were close to nature.
He felt no sympathy for the 'thief boy' whatsoever- it wasn't in his nature. The eighteen-year-old didn't even pause to glance up at him, as his hazel eyes were fixed on the Demigod that stood before him. It seemed that her presence dimmed the mourning of the deceased that rung through his head, though it was most likely just his imagination. He gave her a rare smile, taking her outstretched hand somewhat hesitantly, as his own was undoubtably colder than ice. His gaze lingered for a moment on the glossy black hair that blew gently in the wind, and his smile widened a fraction of an inch. " Pleased to meet you. I'm Colin, and you can call me Colin."

He watched as the girl slid out of the tree with grace. He just stayed where he was figuring it matterd not if he was on the ground or in a tree. He just waited for the other two to leave. He was planning to stay thre until the chill sets in or till his stomach started growling. Trent pulled out a dagger hidden in his clothes. He fiddled with it trying to keep his mind preoccupied. He gave an exhasperated sigh before moving in the tree. He sat in upright posiiton and looked below. "Well.. I guess I'm stuck with you guys." He had no idea what he was tlaking about. He jumped from the tree and landed about two feet from Hade's kid.
